Victor Hugo Lachos Davila

Personal Information


I am native of Peru - Lambayeque. From 1985 until 1989, I studied at “Glorioso Colegio Nacional San Jose” (Chiclayo). In 1990 I moved to Lima, where I finished my undergraduate studies in Statistics and Computer Science (end of 1999) at the Universidad Nacional Agraria- La Molina.
I lived in Brazil from January 2000 until July 2017. In this period, I finished my PhD in Statistics at the Universidade de Sao Paulo (2004) and I was a professor of Statistics at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) for 12 years. Recently (August 2017), I have accepted the position of full professor (tenured) at UConn- Department of Statistics. Here is my CV .
